A little update

I just thought I would post about life in Kansas City...aka the ghetto. We now have three locks on our door which are all in place every minute i am home. We swear we have heard a couple of gun shots, but can't be positive on that one. Tornado watches and warnings have me up out of bed with every ligthening strike at night. And to top it all off it is in the 90's right now and super humid. Kansas City Rocks!! Actually, despite all of those things the people we have met have all been very friendly and helpful. We have been seeing Nate and Liz quite a bit and Macey and Elinor are just the best of friends, it is too cute. Here is a picture from Elinor's 2nd birthday a couple weekends ago. Chris has started his Bar Prep and has been working non stop. He is terrified he wont pass and that is keeping him very motivated. We went to the KC Zoo a couple weeks ago which is right down the road from our apartment. We had a great time and i look forward to going back again soon. Macey and I are going to be taking a trip to WA to visit my family this month. I am excited to get out of this horrible stickiness and have other people watch my kid. I am about 25 weeks along now and we have found out that this baby is also a girl for sure. We are thinking of the name Sophie, but aren't sure yet. I'm feeling great and everything is moving along swimmingly. We have lots of stores around here so I have started back in on my coupon shopping. If all goes like I have planned I will go to CVS tonight and spend less than 20 dollars and get almost 80 dollars worth of stuff!! I love CVS! Unfortunately or fortuately (depending on how you look at it) Chris takes the car to school everday so i can't go shopping very often. I think that about wraps it up. I know Dev and Amie are coming out for the 4th. Is anyone else? Smooches to you all!

Lake Powell In Springtime!

We made our annual trip to Lake Powell. For once, the weather was great and the fishing was good. Since it was a fast trip we did our best "hotel camping"! Grandpa and Cody caught the biggest fish but we all had our chances. Lots of Crappie too. We went on a hike but the ranger gave us bad directions. Long hot walk on the sand.

We're having a ....

Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know that the ultrasound tech said she is 80% sure we are having another girl. Not for sure, but close. Hopefully we will find out next month when I have my 20 week ultrasound. We are excited although I think deep down Chris wants a hunting buddy... He'll never admit it though. Chris has just three days of class left and finals next week and then we have a week off before we move. Mom and Tiff are coming out and we are really excited to see them. Hope you are all doing great!
